A vintage inkwell, a vintage pen, and a photo I took of a page from an antique Japanese book combine beautifully here. The warm color comes from a background I painted and then photographed to add to the mix. All the elements in this piece were photographed here and then, not unlike a collage, pieced and blended together into one picture. Click to enlarge. ©Carol Leigh

  1. Fun stuff, you are having too much creative fun. Your brain must be spinning. Love this look.

  2. It's pretty, isn't it? And yes, my head IS spinning, but then, it's ALWAYS awhirl. So many ideas, but am trying to limit myself to do just one or two or seven things at a time. Have a good idea for a collage series that I'm working on plus playing around with a new 50mm f/1.7 lens on the Panasonic Lumix to see what I can do with it. How did your show go? Did you sell out? Is it still going on? Kudos to you for everything YOU do. --Carol Leigh
