. . . and we were not alone! Low tide this afternoon, no rain, so it's out to walk on the beach. Turning around, I spotted the peering eyes and bad hair of this coastal fellow as he tried to duck back down behind the rocks. I pretended not to see him.
But once you find one face, you seem to find more, such as this friendly rock dolphin (
Delphinus pahoehoe) who is partially submerged.
