Daily Dose of Fall #38

Did I really say I'd do this "Daily Dose of Fall" for SIXTY days? What the heck was I thinking? Manohmanohman . . . And THIS post could have covered THREE of those days if I hadn't combined the images . . . I'm an idiot sometimes. But on I go!

These three were taken in one of my favorite October spots on earth: Half Moon Bay. Mounds of squashes abound, just begging to be photographed. So I did. ©Carol Leigh

Daily Dose of Fall #24

Half Moon Bay, California is delightful year-round, but particularly in autumn, when pumpkins, squashes, and scarecrows abound. I found this vignette in one of the area's many pumpkin patches. ©Carol Leigh

Daily Dose of Fall #1

In addition to my semi-regular postings, every day for the next 60 days I'll upload a different "fall" photo. Some will be old, some will be new, but it's a project that will keep me focused on one particular subject for the next two months. Spring and fall are my favorite times of year, where we celebrate new beginnings, the exuberance of growth, and then a slowing down, a time of quieter pleasures.

This is a cat in Half Moon Bay, California. He was hunting a mouse, but stopped for a moment to make a quiet connection with me.

Wishing you a plethora of quiet pleasures over the next two months. ©Carol Leigh
