There’s nothing like the soft, worn feel of an ancient Japanese
paper-bound book. I was lucky enough to go to Kyoto and amazingly a number
of these old books followed me home. Torn, wrinkled, folded, soft,
tattered pages are a delight to hold, lovely to see. I hope I’ve
captured their textural quality here in this photomontage, which I uploaded to Fine Art America this morning.
